I now know the true meaning of 'heart-warming'. This wedding is beyond heart-warming and the love this couple shares is blatant. Keisha and Jon became husband and wife at the most romantic Ancient Spanish Monastery in Miami Beach. The venue wasn't the only thing that had us seeing "hearts". From the bride's heartfelt note to her groom to the special moments captured throughout the night, this wedding made us smile and is just the right way to end the week.

Toma + Akin : An Engagement Session by Alakija Studios
Happy Thursday! Today we have an über creative session from the amazing talents at Alakija Studios. This couple went all out with their FOUR looks..yes FOUR! and they definitely blew it out the park. With a shoot this creative, there was no way we were passing up the opportunity to know more about the bride and groom. So for your ooh-ing pleasure, we have included Toma and Akin's love story...
Inspiration for the Shoot:
We wanted to feature our romance in various settings- at a farm, in the village, at a plane hangar and in the city.
For the farm setting, we drew inspiration from music videos like Dipo's Be Your Man and Tiwa Savage's Ife Wa Gbona. The original concept was for Toma to play a young village girl sweeping the floor of her compound while Akin the dashing bachelor comes to scoop her up. At the end, we just went with the flow and it turned out great.
At the Airplane Hangar, we channeled our best 007 impression. The idea was to be suave and sophisticated.
For our casual outfits in the city, we really just wanted to look as normal as possible since we had already gone all out with our previous looks.

Milestone x Giveaway!
Crossroads Village Engagement Shoot by Lisa Hodack Photography
*Sigh* We really are suckers for perfectly themed engagement sessions here at Aisle Perfect. Today's dose of pretty comes courtesy of Lisa Hodack Photography and we're in love. This couple went for it and killed it. Megan and Chase look like naturals in their vintage setting and are just so adorable to watch! We sooo can't wait to see their wedding pictures! We have to give it to Lisa Hodack for capturing this fabness perfectly. Just Gorgeous!
From the Photographer:
Sometimes in life we meet our significant others in cliche ways- through friends, in school, at work, etc. But in this case, Megan’s doctor had prescribed her the perfect remedy…a physical therapist…Who just happened to have a dose of handsome, funny, romantic, and sweet all in one. Not only did Chase heal Megan's foot, but over time, they grew closer as friends and soon fell in love.
Aisle Perfect: Jessica + Michael
Get excited Ladies! We have not one but THREE Aisle Perfect weddings coming to the blog this week! Kicking off our week of inspiration perfection is this Houston, Texas wedding by Civic Photos. Jessica and Michael have known each other since middle school but never dated. They reunited after college and the rest as they say is history. The couple went for a rustic chic wedding with enough burlap and DIY to bring out the romantic in anyone. I love that a lot of their wedding details were created by family members and that the couple's personal touch was present throughout. This wedding brought a smile to my face and you deserve one too. Enjoy!
From the Bride:
Our theme for the day was rustic and chic. The colors were ivory, blush, lace and burlap. We wanted a little bit of romance, but clean and casual with a flare of country, thus the burlap. We decided on the Gallery as our venue because it was unique with its lay out and romantic feel. Being able to have both the ceremony and reception at the Gallery was very convenient. The area could fit 220 people comfortably and close. I liked how everyone was close together and not spread out.
There were so many special projects for our day as a lot of the details were DIY and handmade. From our DIY thumb print tree guestbook to the table runners, non-floral centerpieces and fabric/burlap roses handmade by our parents, the wedding really was a labor of love.
Favorite Memory of the Day: There are so many… but one of my favorites is being announced as husband and wife, turning around and seeing everyone close to us so happy.

AP Spotlight: Love, Tims by I Do Weddings {Nigeria}
Happy Monday! We are super excited to bring you our latest AP Spotlight! Today we feature the newest brainchild of Nigerian wedding solutions company 'I Do Weddings'. Founder Timi Ejiwunmi quit her 9 to 5 a couple months ago to start I.D.W- a one stop shop for wedding fabulousness in Nigeria and has never looked back. I must say I am a huge fan of the dresses and the fact that you definitely do NOT have to break the bank to snag one of these beauties (prices vary, and are available upon request). So without further ado, we bring you Love, Tims!
